Tom Penny "Transworld - Anthology"

As Rob Dyrdek said, this was "The one man destruction session."

Tom Penny - Beatnik Rudy Decks

Flip Skateboards is embarking on a journey to create limited runs of our most treasured and collectible Flip screen printed deck graphics from Flips’ earliest days in the USA during the 1990’s. Planning for these decks has been in the works for years but we have finally secured a limited supply of Genuine Original Prime Blanks, cut to Flips’ exact old templates, in the original flat and mellow mold.

The first of these decks is the ultra rare Tom Penny’s Beatnik “Rudy” deck in Flip’s original F-10 template shape, light blue background version measuring 7 5/8” wide x 31 1/2” long and stained background version 7 3/4” x 31 1/2". This is the deck ridden by Tom during his notorious San Diego chain session and was originally made in very low numbers

Original art film, hand-cut ruby’s, and the original print sheet with accurate Pantone numbers has enabled us to make and screen print these decks as genuine continuation boards; not re-issues.

A piece of history, available again for a limited time.

Order today before they’re gone.

"That was pretty much the craziest part of it all. It was almost like he didn't know he was doing anything special. None of it was conscious. Nothing he's done has been conscious [laughs]. It's just all-natural. His whole life is like that ... Anywhere you went he would just bust something—no cameras, nothing. None of it was ever planned in any way. It was never like, "I'm gonna do this and I'll get this cover and be a superstar." It was just, "Oh, there's an obstacle in front of me and I want to do this down it." Boom. "I'm just doing it.""

Arto Saari - Bubblegum Punk

From the early Sorry days, Arto's Bubblegum Punk graphic became an extremely rare collectors item. We decided to make another very limited new run of these, complete with 15 print passes, eleven Pantone ink colors and seven different shades of blue.

A screen printing marathon went into creating these hand made limited decks, using the original artwork film from over twenty years ago.
