Amsterdam was invaded last weekend by American and Euro skateboarders coming together to skate the 4 obstacles at the Vans Downtown Showdown. Luan, Penny, Ben and Louie represented Flip and did a damn good job giving the competition a run for their money! With a 1st place team victory, two obstacle wins and a 2nd and 3rd place obstacle win we walked away with smiles, cheese, bikes and a decent chunk of the 50,000 Euro prize purse. Luan Oliveira, Tom Penny, Louie Lopez and Ben Nordberg will all be competing in the 2012 Vans Downtown Showdown in lovely Amsterdam! April is the official birthday month of Penny, and it’s a good time to reflect on the years of style and inspiration from one of our greatest talents.
