Flip Wins Amsterdam Downtown Showdown!
Amsterdam was invaded last weekend by American and Euro skateboarders coming together to skate the 4 obstacles at the Vans Downtown Showdown. Luan, Penny, Ben and Louie represented Flip and did a damn good job giving the competition a run for their money! With a 1st place team victory, two obstacle wins and a 2nd and 3rd place obstacle win we walked away with smiles, cheese, bikes and a decent chunk of the 50,000 Euro prize purse. Vans Downtown Showdown: Amsterdam
Luan Oliveira, Tom Penny, Louie Lopez and Ben Nordberg will all be competing in the 2012 Vans Downtown Showdown in lovely Amsterdam! Other brands competing include: Toy Machine, Blueprint, Spitfire, Antiz, Jart, Death Skateboards, Element Europe, Palace and Yama. Contest starts August 4th @ 12 noon.
