Beginning at noon on Saturday the Flip team will be at the McBride Skatepark in Long Beach skating and hanging out. At 3pm everyone will be heading over to the Santa Ana Skatepark to round out the day with some more skating and high fives. There will be a best trick contest at both stops with $100.00 dollar CCS gift cards up for grabs. Both stops will also feature free pizza and prizes. The festival is taking place in Los Angeles, with public screenings in Long Beach and Downtown LA. Check out some photos from the Flip “West Side Story” premiere that we had in Long Beach last Friday night. The venue was packed by 9pm and the good vibes were definitely flowing… By the end of the premiere the homies were hyped and that led into an epic after party at the Red Room bar with all of our friends and family. Big THANK YOU to Vitamin Water for sponsoring the event, thanks to the Red Room for letting us get wild and thanks to everyone that made it out to the premiere. This year the International Skateboard Film Festival is back and will be having screenings in both Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA sponsored by Vans & RVCA. This is the world’s only international skateboarding film festival and will definitely be worth checking out. Last year Extremely Sorry won the Best U.S. Film Award and Baron won Best Soundtrack for scoring the music to Extremely Sorry at the LA Skate Film Festival. This year’s International Skateboard Film Festival will feature the similar award categories and some additional awards, including Best Photography, Best Editing, Best Original Screenplay and Best Classic.
The festival film screenings are open to the public and film submissions are open May 1st – July 31st to all filmmakers around the globe.

Geoff, Luan, David, Lance, Louie, Langi and Curren came out to Long Beach last week to film for the upcoming Flip West Coast Tour show. David’s new Globe shoe, “The Heathen” is finally out and last night we painted the town red to celebrate the release! Inverted crosses, booze, shoes, pentagrams, fog machines, Long Beach locals, heavy metal blasting, thugs, homies, Hager bros, maximum carnage and total fucking chaos!! Satanas was definitely out last night and we all got to hang out with him. Check out David’s TWS park video and get out and buy a pair of The Heathens.
